How do we support this?
We collaborate with schools and community entities in ongoing youth development opportunities. We are caring adults who ask, "What is the need?" and then commit to helping meet it.

Brandeis Athletics

Location: Upper West Side
What: High School Campus

Young Life staff and volunteers support student athletes through academic resources, opportunities, and homework help.

We also support basketball student athletes in developing on the court skills and discipline through camp and tournament opportunities.

Young Life also hosts an annual career panel and luncheon, inviting adults from our network of professionals across the city, to share with 10th grade students at Global Learning Collaborative high school.

Fulton Houses Tenant Assoc

Location: Chelsea
What: NYCHA Housing Community

WyldLife Mentoring Program for middle school students living in the community is a partnership with the Fulton Houses Tenant Association, and local churches from the Chelsea & Hell’s Kitchen.

We also have joined Hudson Guild's quarterly events for youth and offer summer camp spots to interested youth from the community.

IT MATTERS

Research on the adolescent years shows us that teens are actively deeking to define their identity, autonomy, and purpose. Young Life wants to help youth develop healthy relationships that "can significantly influence a person's...overall life trajectory."
